HAROPA, the maritime gateway to the first world sightseeing destination
With more than 280,000 passengers a year, HAROPA ports rank among the first on the English Channel/North Sea sea board. Owing to their being complementary, the three dedicated terminals (Le Havre, Rouen, Honfleur) accommodate all ship types. During a call or as a turnaround port, their facilities are at the services of the cruise shipping lines and their passengers.
The nauticality of Le Havre enables it to accommodate up to four cruise ships among the world biggest, at the same time.
Honfleur terminal is very close to the old town centre, one of the main sightseeing places in Normandy, and at the foot of the Tancarville bridge.
The access to Rouen offers sea cruises the pleasure of discovering the loops of the river Seine.
The three sites constitute the exclusive gateway to an area with an outstanding sightseeing richness, being the first tourist destination in the world!
For over five years, HAROPA sea cruises have recorded a double-digit growth. In 2014, 170 calls are planned, that is 20 % more than in 2013. This development is the fruit of the excellent cooperation between HAROPA ports and the Tourist offices in charge of the business coordination in each port.
